November 2014

November was a good time!  Right??  I'm sure it was.  But again, I'm way behind on updating this, so it seems like so long ago.  I do remember a couple of things:
1.  Emily continued to be awesome.
2.  November in Japan is full of great weather.  The leaves finally start to change colors.  Pretty, pretty!
3.  Thanksgiving was fun!  I hosted a brunch for some friends.  We had lots of good food and mimosas (made with some fancy almond champagne, thanks to Jerry) and enjoyed the company.  We took a group trip to the park for some play time and then headed over to Adam and Jimena's for dinner.  Jimena has always been a gracious hostess and awesome cook for holidays.  Another great get-together with friends!! :-)

Here's some fun photos of the month.

Two of my favorite pictures of Emily.

This picture just makes me giggle.  I was trying to have a little cute photo shoot and it was a fail.  Sorry, Em!  Mommy loves you!

This is the sidewalk that I love to run on.  Wait.  Lets rephrase that: If I'm going to run, this is my favorite path.  Up to Costco, around Viva Home, and back.  Regardless of the season, it's always a flower-filled beautiful run.

This picture was taken on my first post-baby run.  It felt really good and I even found flower (almost) as big as my head.

We went to a little beach in Yokosuka that is known for the washed up sea glass.  The water was too cold to even dip Emily's feet in the water, but it was pretty and I collected a couple of handfuls of sea glass.

I guess you can't see the sea glass on the beach as well as I had hoped.  It's there though!  Lots of it!

Cats!  They're just chilling near the beach, living the good life.

Uphill from the beach is a nice grassy area with a great view.  Emi was happy.  Daddy picked out her fun outfit.
